Higher management of an organisation, without being an active stakeholder in its logical ultimate vision for every single aspect concerning the complete Organisation & it’s ecosystem, not a part of it or piece meals of its activities fleetingly during crisis alone, is like being a cripple leading an Army against an adversary with clearer intent, vision & ware-with-all for right or wrong!
It leads to obvious setbacks such as,
~ lack of tangible pragmatic preparation for the detailed brilliant plans made from focused intellect,
~lack of initiatives due to differential perceptions at decision making levels & it’s impact on indirect stakeholders like political stakeholders,
~time lag in action.
~followed by brilliant crisis management with greater finesse but definitely, higher costs. – Dilip
